Happy Father's Day!

To all the dad's out there and ESPECIALLY to mine... Happy Father's Day!

... but really! Being a father ain't easy stuff!  Ya'll have to raise us kids and in doing so, be leaders/role models/examples for us in our lives....  in humility, in righteousness, in real love, etc.  I don't know if I'll ever be able to truly do that and that is why I am staying single! lol :)

Waiting...

It was verbalized to me that the time in the shop would take only 1-3 days and my autograph covered a page that said maybe '3-5 days'. Day six arrived and anxiety set in, Withdraw had been rearing its ugly head as it does when a person is an addict like myself but the grace of my fellow room companions kept my mental state in the yellow. There was only one thing to do... to the phone I went. The females voice on the other end of the line let me know they had misdiagnosed the problem and new parts were being ordered. She also let me know that the conclusion of this repair was unknown... UNKNOWN?!?!

'Why couldn't there had been more communication on their end?' I asked myself.

Forgiveness set and I waited until day 7 to walk into the store myself. On day 7 I was told the same runaround but this time they apologized and gave me an ETA on the issue....

'tomorrow' he said.

Early on the 8th day I received a call that my computer was done and joy set into my bones. Though I was happy, at this point I was ready to tell them how I felt. Entering the store I received my computer and noticed all the work they had done by misdiagnosing it. I had received, all free, a new battery, new logic board, a whole new front panel, battery connections, etc. It's like a whole new computer! Oh, how God just loves me!

-Also while I am on the topic of praising God

I needed some more money for this summer and found out I have a check coming from a job I did a year ago.

'Anti-Semitism is in Fashion'

Ok so I have noticed the rise in anti-semitism lately and have heard and read stats that concur with that idea. I've even heard reports that say anti-semitism hasn't been as high in the world since Nazi Germany (which is VERY scary to think). Even after reading all the stats and facts it didn't fully click with me until today as I picked up a Boston Metro paper(which I NEVER do). After reading about Obama and his antics, I turned the page to the letters/emails.

I couldn't find a link to the letter online so I will write it out here:

"WHEN IT COMES TO ISRAEL, SHHH!
re: 'Anti-Semitism is in Fashion', June 10.

Helen Thomas is another Israeli causality. Why is it when someone criticizes Israel or speaks the truth about the situation there, they have to immediately rescind or retract their statement or apologize. No Matter how truthful and factual that statement might be?-Edward B Jones, via email"

FIRST OF ALL, 'Isreali causality'- REALLY? You'd think someone from Israel had hurt her in some way, when in truth she was the only one throwing punches.

SECOND, maybe when someone says something critical AND (not OR) truthful about Israel then maybe they won't have to retract their statement. Helen had no truth in her ant-semitic statement only hate and let me show you because I have it right here:

Nesenoff: Any comments on Israel? We're asking everybody today, any comments on Israel?
Thomas: Tell them to get the hell out of Palestine.
Nesenoff: Oooh. Any better comments on Israel?
Thomas: Remember, these people are occupied and it's their land. It's not German, it's not Poland ...
Nesenoff: So where should they go, what should they do?
Thomas: They go home.
Nesenoff: Where's the home?
Thomas: Poland. Germany.
Nesenoff: So you're saying the Jews go back to Poland and Germany?
Thomas: And America and everywhere else.

They should go back to Poland and Germany??? Historically Jewish People have been occupying Israel way before the Holocaust. The ignorance of this woman is incredible!

Thomas subsequently issued an apology on her personal web site: "I deeply regret my comments I made last week regarding the Israelis and the Palestinians. They do not reflect my heart-felt belief that peace will come to the Middle East only when all parties recognize the need for mutual respect and tolerance. May that day come soon."

OMG!!! First of all apologizing in writing when she slammed Israel publicly is much like breaking up over a text message, it shows the true character of a person. If she really felt the need for mutual respect and tolerance then she would be practicing it, which could only mean she's lying to us once again in an apology. This woman was the white house press correspondent and I am afraid her statement echoes mutuality of feelings with the rest of the administration.

THIRD, I want to remind you all of just the recent times related to Islam WE BENT OVER when it came to our free speech.

Comedy Central(South Park episode) - Does comedy central censor Jesus or Jewish jokes, or do they apologize in the least? NO, they don't, but they censor Muhammad and apologize for bashing him.

Facebook(draw muhammad day) - Did any anti Christian or Jewish groups get taken down... no but a draw muhammad day group did along with some other anti Islam groups.

Itunes(I Slam APP) - Apple took down an I Slam APP on it's site but kept selling the equivalent ones for Christians/Jews.

Christians, stop with the elitist mentality especially when it comes to Israel and stop being blind to the Islam Ideology! Get on your knees and pray, open your mouth and speak out! We need to be standing up for Israel and the Jewish people because I fear no one else is going to.

The Opposition

So the last two posts on my page have had a topic about Islam in some way or another. I thought it funny that I have not received criticism from Muslims but in fact have received back lash from 'Christians'. lol

Here is an email I received:

"Kinda worried about you man. There a lot of stuff on your bloog that seems really hateful towards muslims and arabs. Just wondering where your motivationis as a follower of jesus."

LET ME ANALYZE THIS:

First of all, PLEASE PROOF READ YOUR EMAILS :)

Second, Being 'worried' about someone, in the context this writer is speaking of, inherently means that they have an opinion which is contrary to mine and in this case using the word 'worried' signifies that my opinion is the problem and/or is the inferior belief. Just a little advice for this writer's 'future consultations', when you start off a letter with a statement that looks down on a person and says they're wrong, in most cases you have ALREADY LOST THEM.

...but since I am above the norm ;) - I will proceed my analysis without any prejudice.

Third, The email states 'There is a lot of stuff on your blog that seems really hateful towards Muslims and Arabs'. Let me first shoot down the ridiculous accusation that I have said anything on my blog against any certain ethnicity. The writer wrapping Arabs in with an Islamic ideology is much like saying all Chinese are Buddhist, which is VERY RACIST and OFFENSIVE! Also, my last 2 blogs have directed their energy towards a religion and it's ideologies rather than an individual person. So, the writers statement probably should have been 'There is a lot of stuff on your blog that seems really hateful towards Islam' and with that I would have said, hate is a strong word, lol, but my God is the only true God and so I stand with him and oppose what is evil.

Forth, The last question the writer proposes with a period (which I think is interesting) is, 'Just wondering where your motivation is as a follower of Jesus.' I must remind the writer that God is the only one able to truly convict and I think it's funny that the writer tries to convict by his own words that run no deeper than that of a Pharisee mixed with a so called 'Christian' birthed out of a Post-Christian Society. My God does not stand for unrighteousness in any form and I stand with my God and against the ideologies that oppose him, but thankyou for your concerns!

Here are some scriptures to chew on:

"You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy." -Hebrews 1:9

"Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts. Perhaps the LORD God Almighty will have mercy..." -Amos 5:15

"Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me"- Matt 10:37

"I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves" -Mathew 10:16

"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." -Matthew 10:34

Ok just want to let you all know out there that I am pretty darn sure Mormons don't have religious text that say gays have to be put to death... ISLAM does though

Disagreement versus Murder

Maybe you should use your energy fighting the peeps whose text DEMANDS your DEATH..... your choice though

Mosque Protest in NY

A Protest was held in NY today(JUNE 6)
Against the building of a Mosque @ ground zero
There were many speakers as well as protesters :)

This day left me with two observations/questions:

1- Why was there no main media coverage at all? (There were 1000's of people protesting!) It has become more evident how sided the media is these days
(YES EVEN YOUR PRECIOUS FOX, lol)

2- Most people there were adults to seniors. The lack of protesters my age reminded me how complacent my generation has become.

This event was brought to us by:

(NEXT ONE WILL BE SEPTEMBER 10)

Below is one of my favorite posters, lol

Conspiracy Theories

Playing devils advocate once again in a conversation who's topic is irrelevant, I was called a Conspiracy Theorist. Though when it was rolled off the tongue, I felt like the name was a simile for Crazy Person. Yes I admit most conspiracy theories sound crazy and they are but when one refutes the idea by simply attacking the other's sanity I am left with questions. If the idea is so crazy why can't one very easily refute it? My hope is that when there is a "Conspiracy Theory" and it sounds a little 'out there' one would not simply brush it off as crazy unless you can prove your point. When a people take "A Word" for truth without a backing of proof, we become the CRAZY Ones, for at least the Conspiracy Theorists put some sort of thought/proof behind their ideas.

like talking to a sheep...

It's a conversation in which one, myself, speaks with another. The conversation moves in such a way where the one, myself, divulges a revelation while the other thinks they understand. I use the word 'thinks' because in all truth they do not. It's not that they disagree but instead hold a false sense of agreement with something they think I am saying but again I am not. Though I try clarifying myself time after time, letting them know what they think I mean is entirely different, I find there is no way to get this person to understand in this time and place...

In those moments of frustration it hits me... this is how it must be when I talk to smart people, lol or better yet .... this is how God feels all the time!!!
