Christmas = Persecution?

Christmas is the worst time of year around the world for the persecuted church.  By persecuted I mean, violent attacks, assaults, and even death (things we cannot truly grasp living here in America).  So, in the midst of stressing out over shopping, family gatherings, church functions, etc..... take some time and spend this christmas praying for them!  If your physical brother/sister was being persecuted to death would you do nothing?  How much more should we cry out for our brothers and sisters in Christ?

Praise you Lord, you are above all things, nothing is impossible for you!  God we cry out for our brothers and sisters around the world this time of year.  I pray that you will guard and protect them; make Your face shine upon them and be gracious to them (Numbers 6:25). Even in the midst of persecution I pray that they would manifest your love, grace and fullness of the Holy Spirit.  I also cry out for those that would persecute your children (our brothers and sisters) and I ask that you would change the hearts of them as you did with Saul on the road to Damascus.  Praise you Lord!  In Jesus' Name Amen!
