'Praying for Muslims: A guide for effective Intercession 2011'
I will be trying to post from this book every week....
Please join in each FRIDAY in INTERCEDING and FASTING(one meal) for Muslims and those on the FRONT LINES reaching out to Muslims.
If we continue to trust God for feats that are humanly impossible. He will honor our faith in Him. The purpose of this prayer is not to defeat Muslims or take over their properties. Rather, we are seeking the glory of the name of Jesus. We intentionally seek to bring people to the Kingdom of God, so they can be set free from sin and experience joy and life in Christ.
Over the past several centuries many churches were turned into into mosque (examples are found in the Middle East, Turkey, Spain, etc.). Even today in the West (an example is the United Kingdom). Muslims are taking over dysfunctional church buildings and turning them into Islamic centers and mosques. This, however, is not the reason for this prayer. We do not seek revenge, we care not for mere walls of stone.
God is able to accomplish far more than we might ask or imagine, according to His power at work in us. Glory be to Him in the community of believers, and through Jesus Christ in all ages forever and ever! Amen (Ephesians 3:20-21, Sharif Bible)
Lord God, there is no god like You in heaven above of on earth below. You do not live in places built by human hands. Heaven itself, the highest heaven, cannot contain You; how much less churches and mosques that humans build! (1 Kings 8:23-37). We pray that Christ will be proclaimed freely, publicly and loudly in mosques and Islamic places of worship around the world! We do not desire to take over these places. We are asking that You cause Muslims to come to You and worship You of their own accord and free will in the places they themselves have built.
I pray that people will be saved and set free from sin and the bondage of satan in those mosques. May divine healings and miraculous acts take place in those places of worship in the name of Jesus.
O Lord my God, attend to the prayer and the supplication of Your servant; listen to the cry and the prayer which Your servant makes before You this day. May Your eyes be on these buildings to turn them into places where the name that is above every name will be worshipped (1 Kings 8:28-29).
